I grew up in the Twin Cities in Minnesota and I am currently in my third year studying Architecture at Iowa State University.  I take great pride in my community, both at school in Ames and at home in the Twin Cities.  I have a variety of interests relating to design and architecture, but when I am not designing or in studio you can probably find me in the pool.  I have been swimming since sixth grade and have continued to improve my times, even in college!  My other passions include listening to music, driving, trying new restaurants, learning new things, watching Parks and Recreation, and traveling.  I recently visited Iceland with my parents to reconnect with my family's roots.  I instantly fell in love and dream of going back someday.
